Fund Details
The Learning and Research Fund (L&RF) is available to help both undergraduates and postgraduate 蘑菇视频下载安卓 towards half the costs of the purchase of approved course related items including: books, stationery, hardware, printing, equipment, and thesis binding; and towards the full costs of approved course related or research related activities such as: conferences, summer schools, summer research programmes, and language courses. The maximum sum payable is 拢300 per year of course for undergraduates and 拢500 per year of course for postgraduate 蘑菇视频下载安卓 (MPhil and other one鈥恲ear postgraduate courses may draw on an allowance under the Fund of 拢500; The maximum allowance for full-time PhD 蘑菇视频下载安卓 is 拢1500 over a 鈥榮tandard鈥 course duration of three years/nine terms).
Guidance on how and when this funding can be claimed throughout the year is available to 蘑菇视频下载安卓 via the College intranet.
Further Information
Students may claim up to two years of funding at any one time, once during the course of their degree. Offer holders are not eligible to apply for anything purchased before 1 September of the year they commence their course.
Applications for funding for books, hardware, equipment or teaching aid may be submitted after the items have been purchased but 蘑菇视频下载安卓 might want to ask for prior approval in case there is any doubt.
Please be advised that funding is not available for studies which are considered to be a prerequisite of the course you are currently studying.
Geographers and Geologers can claim for Fieldwork for Compulsory Part II dissertations via the application form for Biologists, Geologists and Geographers. Students can claim 100% of expenses up to a maximum of 拢400.
