The Book of Documents is one of the Five Classics (Wujing) in the traditional Confucian canon.
A complete copy of this work should have six chapters of text and one chapter of illustrations. Here only the illustrations and chapter one survive, in a single fascicle, woodblock printed, and stitched bound in soft covers.
